Ever fancied starring in a Pantomime? Or better still, watching your family and friends in one?
Now you can star in you very own pantomime – at home with this Christmas Family Party Game.
A Pantomime, in your home? Really?!
Plato once said…‘YOU CAN DISCOVER MORE ABOUT A PERSON IN AN HOUR OF PLAY THAN IN A YEAR OF CONVERSATION.’ … so, it could save you a lot of bother later!
Any similarity to ‘Cinderella” in this pantomime is purely intentional. It’s slightly on the unusual side however – not only does it star your entire family there are also riddles, a treasure hunt, games and singing along the way.
Ok, maybe you’ve decided to purchase Acting the Party’s first Family Pantomime Party, what should you expect?
Well, firstly you will receive a very unique audio play on a USB memory stick, this will be numbered MP3 files, techy stuff – drag your three year old over to the computer to help you out. The audio play should be played in order on a fairly good sound system so that you can hear the beautiful dulcet tones of our lovely narrator, (the late Nigel Pargetter from The Archers, but still very vibrant) Graham Seed … along with wonderful sound effects and music – and loud enough to be heard above any raucous Christmas behaviour.
This Christmas Family Party Game will last approximately 1 and a 1/2 hours.
Secondly, there will also be several files which will be PDF’s of the Instructions, carol sheets, and game accessories.
These you will need to print up. It’s very easy, but should you not have a three year old to hand, further instructions are on the USB and on our FAQ page.
You will then need people, these can be young or old, relatives or friends, dragged off the street or otherwise; gather them up in a room, preferably an unlocked one, and one with the sound system in. Then on with the show!! Graham will gently direct you through the play, guiding you all the way, however, any improvisation is greatly appreciated …usually. It’s very easy, very simple, you may even enjoy a small glass of wine and nibbles while you watch each other take centre stage.
